Update on Aliveness

Some readers asked me what aliveness means to me. One of the expressions of aliveness for me is providing opportunities for people to grow, develop and create for themselves and others. An example is we recently hosted a Speed Mentoring event connecting 45 mentees to 19 exec mentors for an hour at work. What makes me come alive is the culmination of three things: 

1. Working alongside a dedicated team of fellow professional development committee volunteers who worked tirelessly to produce a great event while having fun.
   
2. The unflinching support from our senior leaders in volunteering their time to develop others, amidst their busy schedules.
   
3. The brave professionals who invest in their own growth and show up prepared with insightful questions that our mentors still rave about those questions
